„Fagure Negru” is a place of refuge, of contemplation. Simultaneously dark and sweet, it talks to us about complex feelings that surround upon losing someone dear. There’s not just the jaw-clenching pain, but also the sweetness of pleasant memories, there’s awareness that the fingerprint left by them on the world is important and noteworthy. These thoughts bring some inner comfort, a silent gratefulness for what was, for the time it lasted. This song was written with Robert Cotoros in mind, our great friend and exceptional producer. We have started working together on „Fagure Negru” in 2019, and we will always cherish the moments we spent fleshing out these ideas at our rehearsal space in Sibiu.
